Local Wildlife Seals, Dolphins, Crabs, Starfish and many other marine life frequent both Point Turton and Hardwicke Bay.
Playgrounds Nearby playgrounds for the kids are located at Pt Turton, Yorketown, Stansbury and Minlaton. Worth the drive to entertain the little ones. There is also a tennis court for hire at Pt Turton.
Fishing Point Turton is best known for its excellent boat ramp (2 lane pontoon) but if you don't have a boat then fishing from the jetty or hiring a local charter fishing boat can be great options.
Walking/Bike riding A walking and bike riding trail is located along the Point Turton foreshore
Swimming The local swimming centre is nearby which includes pontoons and diving boards. Shallow beach swimming can be done in front of the house near the boat ramp and at Flaherty's Beach
Exploring Rock climbing, snorkeling, fossicking for shells and stones and looking for crabs in the rock pools are all favourite past times around Point Turton. Visit the beautiful Magazine Bay (as seen in these photos) only a few minutes walk from the "Beach House"
